This video shows us relining existing walls with new plasterboard/gyprock as part of a renovation in Stockton, near Newcastle NSW.
The original walls were lined with a mismatch of timber lining boards, old fibro and masonite. The new plasterboard walls and ceilings, along with new skirting and architraves, sanded floorboards and paint will completely transform this house leaving it with a clean, modern interior.
The owners installed the new plasterboard sheeting themselves and had us come in to plaster the joints and install the cornice, ready for painting.
This stage of the job included a large living area and entry with 3 metre high ceilings finished with 90mm cornice and a bathroom with a raked ceiling and square set finish.
